Pediapred comes in more than one concentration (We've used both the 1
mg/ml and the 2 mg/ml.) so the cc/ml amounts don't tell anything.
You'll want to see what the concentration is. If the pharmacist
accidently covered that part of the label you can ask at the animal
hospital or at the pharmacy.

There is no top dose of Prednisone/Prenisolone for ferrets. They are
very UN-inclined to having side effects (one of the ways they differ
from a number of other species), but their most common one is GI
ulceration. That doesn't mean that all stops should be pulled out
from scratch, just that when needed for an animal who needs extra
help that dosing can be aggressive. We've been especially so in our
household for advanced insulinoma in a non-surgical candidate and in
two with lympho. We have even had a tiny elderly girl on 5 mg/day to
get her extra quality time.
