If Timmy is strong age seven is not too old for adrenal surgery. Podo
had a right adrenal gland removed with vena cava ligation at age seven
and a half. I'd ask him if he's too old but he's usually busy bouncing
around and playing :) He had an insulinoma surgery since then, too.

The decision on whether or not a ferret is a surgical candidate or not
is, IMHO, not based solely on chronological age. It is based on what
kind of shape the ferret is in.
