When Griffin was on Prednisone it was 5mg/mL. I do not know if it was Pedi=
apred. (It did not say so, just Pred.) He started with .10 cc. When he w=
ould start to do his starry stare, seizures or get wabbly in the back I wou=
ld up it .05 cc's. He also started out on the pill form (Talk about imposs=
ible to get down!!!) But I got him switched to liquid stuff compounded wit=
h berry flavor. SO the one thing i would watch out for is ULCERS!!! Try t=
o make sure he eats before you give it to him to coat his stomach. Sukie w=
as right about the side effects tho. None really happen. The exception do=
es prove the rule though:) Griffin was on it for almost a year. His dose =
was at .45cc's before he passed (from complications with surgery for a hemo=
raged spleen, the vet then found a HUGE kidney tumor that was cancerous ->A=
drenal as a matter of fact, not that this was related to his Insulinoma.) =
I do remember being told that ferrets still get results up until 1cc but I =
am not for certain and I would do some research for sure. Hope that helps.=
