It was diagnosed by a pathologist via a biopsy. I had asked for the biopsy to be taken because I had long suspected that Chester has IBD. What other diagnosis are you suggesting that we do?

It is not the focus of treatment. It was just a general question on my part. My vet saw white lesions on the liver and biopsied those. Hepatitis was the diagnosis by the pathologist. I was just curious about it.
Dr. Williams, I guess I'm not understanding what you are suggesting. I have been told that a biopsy is the only way to diagnose IBD and that has been done. Are you suggesting that the pathologist may be mis-diagnosing the condition? What are you suggesting be done differently?
It seems that there are many suggestions of mis-diagnosis on this list. What can be done to prevent this?
