Hi all,
Just rescued a new ferret from a kennel. Short history. (all I know about =
her so far). She was being kept in a cage with out food or water for an un=
known amount of time. (before you all go nuts, her owner was "very" old an=
d unable to care for himself). The courts stepped in and removed her, alon=
g with several cats and dogs. She was kept in the kennel for about a month,=
until the courts released her for adoption. I got her last wednesday. I =
got her in the tub with the boys so everyone got baths, nails, ears etc at =
the same time. Thats when I found out that she was a MF ferret. (I couldn=
't tell before, she was too dirty). Now for my question. (I have only two=
boys so this may be normal for a girl). She is white with black eyes. Sh=
e has a bluish/black mark, center line of her tummy. About 2-3 inches long=
. Feels kinda hard, but not real hard. It doesn't seem to be sensative at=
all. Could this be a scar from her spaying? Should I worry? I know I'm =
probably freaking out over nothin' but I have to ask. Thanks in advance. =
