Dr. Williams,
Pigs was diagnosed with cutaneous lymphoma through a biopsy. Blood work done. Liver, Kidneys checked and fine.
All pictures I have seen (the few) effecting the feet and the one on your site with the skin looks NOTHING like her. Her treatment of 2.5 cc's of pediapred seems to be spreading her hive like scales and making her worse. Any other advisable treatment????? As of now her only relief is benedryl. Other symptoms is hair loss trunk and tail.. raw tail from licking.. raw feet from biting. She is on lupron-possible adrenal only adrenal symptom is the hair loss. VET appointment scheduled for follow-up is SAT 9/21. She is very baffled by the case. Will work with a referred vet in the Michigan area if you know of one more experienced. Any considerations or things I can check to tell my vet - she is a good vet specializing in exotics but not cut. lymp in ferret experienced. Pigs is 9, sable, female, fixed. Scales have been present 6-8 mos. very slow at spreading.. Will post picture tomorrow. Will do whatever
needed to help my girl. Thank you for your time.
