Treatments that have the best chance of working depend on several factors including the TYPE of malignancy, the location of the malignancy, the age of the individual, how far advanced the malignancy is, and a number more. I can't recall ever hearing of radiation suggested as being effective for lymphoma in ferrets.

Was a biopsy done and pathology done of the tissue to know for sure what the problem is? That is the essential first step.

Can you give more details?

We've used gentle (but effective for many months to over a year) treatment with chemo, and once tried the Jeglum Protocol but he was too old and infirm for that heavy-hitting approach which is better suited to those in their primes.

The best approach simply depends on an entire suite of factors.
