Well, I don't know about the microscope, Wolfy, but I
do know the vet told me that you can't see *ear mites*
with the human eye. However, all of these vets also
look in the ears and say *yea* or *nay* without
benefit of even a magnifying glass!

I gave mine the monthly dose of Ivermectin for
heartworms faithfully and we STILL got ear mites. I
was told it is not a strong enough dose for that. I
have a solution of the Ivermectin that I use to treat
their ears that is much stronger.

On another note, I asked about using the Revolution to
cover all bases with one dose. I have had several
known, respected ferret vets tell me they prefer to
use the individual meds to target specific things
(e.g., Advantage for fleas, Ivermectin for heartworms,
etc.). Whatever you use, use something!

renee :)
