Hello all. I have a 9 to 10 month old MF ferret that has been displaying mating behavior with his cagemate. I'm thinking that this may be a sign of an adrenal problem. It just seems to be occuring at a rather young age. Has anyone ever seen this type of behavior in a young ferret before? Could this be a sign of some other problem? Is it possible he could be an incomplete neuter and showing this behavior? I'll run it past our vet, but I was just wondering if anyone has seen this kind of thing before.
