Is hair loss ever anything but an adrenal problem?? I have a 4 year old female that is loosing her fur on her belly. You can see her skin. She also seems to be loosing her guard hairs, so she appears to have thinning of her coat all over. She doesn't have any other symptoms that I can see. No vulva swelling, no smell, no new motherly behavior, the males are not bothering her. I have had two other ferrets with adrenal problems and with both it was obvious to us before we could even get them in to the vets office that they were going to have adrenal surgery. With this one we are not sure adrenal is what the problem is. What other things should our vet look for when we take her in to be seen?

Thanks
Jen
