Has this stuffiness had recent onset? I know that influenza is
already out there. A friend who is in medicine has had one recently
(as have his family), and we got one here with me apparently having
some resistance so my symptoms have been low-grade but Scooter got it
decently. Fortunately, his lungs stayed okay, but, boy, was he
stuffy in the head, sneezing madly, and having runs (Okay, he always
has runs due to other problems which are being treated, tested, etc.
but they were worse.). We thought it was possibly allergies or virus
at first because my symptoms were but then narrowed it down when he
fevered around the same time that I got strong enough symptoms to
separate from my allergies. He seems to be past it now, after about
a week. One thing that greatly helped him with comfort was steam.
It helped him more than anything else. We have a clothing steamer
that i used and he would ask for it, coming out, looking at me, and
bumping the steamer, but you can do alternatives like running a
shower and holding the ferret high up near it, being careful to avoid
over-heating the ferret.
