Rarely. Yours does sound like adrenal disease. A swollen vulva, mothering behavior, etc., do not always appear along with hair loss. One of my females never had a swollen vulva, aggressiveness or mothering behavior, but she did have hair loss. She did have adrenal disease and subsequently, surgery.
