Hi All,
Moose had a good day today and even ate pretty well. Moose came thru
surgery, (Wednesday morning) fine, sadly there was NO BLOCKAGE of any
kind throughout his system. He has Megaesophagus. I've been told it
rare in ferrets and somewhat common in dogs.
I need help. Can anyone tell me what I can do to give him the best life
he can have for as long as he remains?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am having trouble with Yahoo
knowing I am part of the group. I get the Digest, but I cannot go into
the archives. The weird thing is on the barium x-ray you could see an
enlarge esophagus, but when he throws up, it's not food, its white foamy
stuff. He does make noises as the liquid food filters through his
system.
Thank you for your help, I am currently looking into 3 websites.
