Thanks, Katherine. I strongly think that I have been told by a vet of a journal article which said that maternal antibodies wore off in ferret kits at around 6 weeks,so that would also be a reference if I could find what it is, or someone else says.

they will find info on how nad when these are and are not useful and why. I seem to recall one or two vets addressing this during the life of the FHL.
Actually, I didn't think of it, but I wonder if the maternal antibodies aspect was addressed earlier in the FHL and I just don't recall the conversation.
