For kits there are timing concerns for testing and Danee was
completely correct that such precautions must be remembered. There
have been people who have wound up with real confusion due to
forgetting the kit timing needs, so her reminder is sure to help
folks.

Danee knows more about this than I.

I have not heard of any big problems with the United tests for ADV,
though all tests have limitations and none is perfect. Have you
considered using those, Katherine?

I apologize for how badly I have been writing recently; I have a bug.
Like Katherine I found Dr. Bruce Williams' explanations about kit
immunity, distemper vaccines, and nursing to be very educational and
well written. It's always fun to learn.

Off list it was pointed out to me that my assumption (Yes, I know
assumptions are dangerous, and am sorry.) for the basis of the
vaccine timing discussion on a different list was wrong. The
discussion elsewhere is what led to the discussion here. Sorry. I
confused it with an earlier discussion off-list. Now, if you can
unweave that you know how me well... LOL! What I am trying to say
is that I was told that the current off-list discussion did not say
anything about compromising the ferrets.
