I haven't either. That wasn't what I meant, just that all have some
age limitations for kits. I have heard of people making the mistake
of doing testing before ages where the ferret was old enough.

Yes, but if you have been disappointed enough or concerned enough
that you are thinking of not testing (which may have been me
mis-reading what you meant in that letter) then a switch would be in
order.

Thanks for clarifying. I think that what Dr. Bruce Williams wrote
clarifies that aspect. Honestly, I'm glad they do the vaccinations
before they leave the farms because there can be CD risks in pet
stores, and I expect that you are, too. There was an earlier
conversation elsewhere in which someone incorrectly thought that it
was bad for ferrets to have CD vax at six weeks; that is what I
confused it with.
