Subject: Grinding teeth

My ferret (2 yr old female) who had been dehydrated and I have been giving water and chicken dinner baby food mixed with a little water and Ferretvite. This has been going on for a week and a few days now. She got better only to seem more tired again and although she has regained some weight, I don't see her eating the hard food so I am not sure if she is eating that yet. My question is: I see and hear her grinding her teeth when she is done eating. And she rubs her face on the blanket or carpet. I checked her mouth to see if I could see any mouth sores...from what I could tell, I didn't see anything and her guns looked good, too. What does it mean when they grind their teeth?
