My 1 yr old male albino turned up about a month or so ago with a red spot o=
n the back, between his shoulder blades. I figured it was where the cat ha=
d gotten a little too rough when they were playing. I noticed it got angri=
er looking over the next few days, so I took Vinnie to the vet. The vet pu=
t him on children's benadryl liquid (1 cc 2x a day) and Bactodern ointment =
2x a day. I did this routine religiously for about a week or 10 days and i=
t does look not-so-angry, but it's definitely still there, with the red scr=
atch marks, but just not so angry looking. Also, Vinnie just seems to scra=
tch all the time! The vet had me move the location of his Revolution from =
between the shoulder blades (thinking this may be an allergic reaction) to =
lower on his back, so we could see it that area broke out. It hasn't yet, =
but he's obviously itching all over! Has anyone got any ideas? Is there s=
omething I can do to stop his itching? Should I stop the Revolution altoge=
ther. I really liked it because I couldn't get him to take the Advantage o=
r other oral meds for heartworms, fleas, etc. I'll take any help I can get=
. =
