Hi all,

I would like to know if I can get some suggestions
from the vets or anyone w/ experience. My Rickers has
blood in his urine. I took him to the vet in May for
his annual check up and told the vet it looked like he
might have blood in his urine so he sent a sample off
and gave me some amoxy to give him and then when it
was finished to wait 4-6 weeks and bring in a sample
to test. Un fortunately, i didn't get the sample until
Sep and there is still blood in his urine and no sign
of any infection. so i am posting the may and sep lab
results. he eats, pees and poops and normal behaviour.
his gums and paw pads are pink. he's not dehydrated.
The vet is not sure what to check for. sorry for any
miss spellings of the lab results, the fax is not that
great.

May reults (blood and urine)

platelet estimate adequate
platelet clumps present on slide; estimate reflects
the contribution of clumped platelets Clumping
prevents accurate automated or manual platelet
counting and falsely decreases the reported result,
which reflects the MINIMUM platelet number. Tis is a
common in vitro phenomenon, which can be inducted by
factors such as tissue fluid ? venipuncture, contact
with glass, impproper blood/anticoagulant ratio, and
certain inflammatory or immune mediated conditions.
