Is it possible that the Biaxin was not ground finely enough, or that the syringe was made with an aopenning that is perhaps too narrow and you can try widening it with a wide needle ro asking for a replacement syringe.

Biaxin does tend to clump at the bottom of the bottle, as do some other meds like Diazoxide. Instead of just shaking hit the bottom of the bottle against the heel of your other hand when you shake it. That concussive aspect tends to loosen material very effectively and quite rapidly often.

If you give a little of an oily treat like Ferretone beforehand it will coat the mouth and can sometimes reduce resistance, and giving a sweet treat like Nutrical afterward when possible helps get the taste out of the mouth.
