Thursday evening our Kit, whose over 5, suddenly didn't want to move around=
much, seemed like it hurt her. She did a sort of 'flat ferret' on me. I =
immediately called the vet and he said give her some pred, boost her till h=
e could check her the next day. He checked her glucose, did an exam, and s=
aid she didn't seem to have anything wrong, glucose level was excellent, an=
d she hadn't had any since around 5pm the night before (he checked her arou=
nd noon).

Friday night she didn't want to walk at all, seemed to be limping, nose was=
dry. Now the cage she and her group are in have the tunnels to get from l=
evel to level. One fell out the other night (tunnel, not ferret) and she's=
had to climb up higher without the aid of the tunnel, which I have replace=
d. The vet and I are wondering if she might have hurt herself trying to pu=
ll herself up. He has her on .2cc of pedia pred 2x a day, and I have her i=
n a cage by herself where she doesn't have to climb anything. She is eatin=
g and drinking, bathroom habits are fine, but just doesn't want to move aro=
und. She's not tender anywhere when you feel her, if you hold her she want=
s down, walks a few steps and then just lays down. She is alert, eyes are =
bright. Does anyone have an idea or seen anything like this?
