Subject: can't poop and hard stomach

Just woke up to cowboy wimpering and trying to poop but can't. I think he has a blockage. He is very warm and keeps trying to poop,but nothing is happening. I pick him up and he can't straighten his body ( not that i want him too). his stomach is jumping around. It's 8am and I'm going to the vet. will let you know the outcome.
