"Ferrets, Rabbits and Rodents - Clinical Medicine and Surgery" says the maximum dose of Prednisone is 2 mg/kg, every 12 hours. So that's 4 mg per day... assuming the ferrets weighs 2.2 pounds. You're giving 0.9 mg three times a day, which works out to 2.7 mg per day. I have heard of others giving much more than 2 mg/kg twice a day with good results, but I can't say this is recommended.
The above mentioned reference says to start at 5-10 mg/kg of diazoxide every 12 hours. 0.1 ml contains 5 mg of diazoxide, so you're giving just under 15 mg per day. They also say the maximum diazoxide dose is 60 mg/kg, every 24 hours (1.2 ml), divided into two or three equal doses. So you are WAY under the maximum on that drug.
This book is a few years old so recommendations may have changed with the knowledge we have gained over the years.

increasing on Pred and then we introduced diazoxide. Since she has a fast motabolism she gets both drugs 3 times a day (every 8 hours). Right now she is on .3 cc Pred 3mg/ml and .08 cc diazoxide 50mg/ml 3 times a day. Is this the max dose of both drugs?
