I just posted but forgot to ask about kidney disease. Is there a site I can go with with information on the disease. I understand she needs to drink more fluids but I am looking for hints/tips/etc. Right now she doesn't need any SQ's, but Dr. Weiss did say I should decrease the amount of protein in her diet.
Currently she eats TF for older ferrets and Bob c's Chicken Gravy (2x/day). Is there too much protein in Bob C's Gravy? If so, did he ever post a modification to the recipe to decrease it?
I'm scared I am hurting her by making her food, but she loves it so much she does tricks for it while I am heating it up!
