MIlliliter and cubic centimeter are interchangeable in your syringes.

Milligram is weight measure. This is the important figure for figuring dosing.

Concentrations vary, just as you can mix solid laudry soap in differing volumes of water. An example is prednisone. Pediapred comes in a t least two concentrations ( 1 mg/ml and 2 mg/ml) but it is possible to havbe a compounding pharmacist make other concentrations. That is why when a person says that 0.5 ml or so other vulume is bieng give the concentration must be known (the mg per ml).

When giving meaasurements that begin with a decimal point please put a zero beofre the dot to avoid confusion and to halp those of us with low vision who can;t see the dots.
