Subject: Gastric ulcers curiosity

Just a curiosity question sparked by a lecture today --

The speaker was discussing gastric ulcers in dogs and cats - and of course,
my mind wandered to ferrets. :) He was discussing helicobacter as being
associated with gastric ulcers - and I was wondering if this has been
diagnosed in ferrets?
Also - he discussed the fact that gastrinomas (also associated with ulcers)
act very similarly to insulinomas. Are these seen in ferrets, and how
commonly?

Lastly - he discussed the use of omeprazole in companion animals -- has this
been used in ferrets with gastric ulcers? Success rate?

Thanks - just musing some possibilities over in my mind!
