Kit is under the care of my vet for whatever is wrong with her. I've gotte=
n in contact with Dr. Williams and he's e-mailed me from Amsterdam, and my =
vet will be corresponding with him.

I spoke with Julie Fossa this evening, told her my vet has Kit (she weighs =
1 1/2 pounds) on 20mg of baby aspirin a day. Julie was concerned that this=
was too much for her, that she might retain it. Please, will the vets and=
anyone else quickly let me know if you think this is too much? She's alre=
ady gotten this dosage yesterday and today, will be back at the vet tomorro=
w to make sure she's not dehydrated, plus he wants to get videos of the way=
she is walking. I'll explain more of this later. He did blood work on he=
r yesterday and it is now at Cornell Univ. being tested for encephalitis, a=
nd I've requested ADV testing. I know that folks say there is no West Nile=
in anything but horses, birds, and humans, but there is now a documented c=
ase of a dog in Illinois, and another down south. We had, I believe, a mos=
quito in the house 2 weeks ago. The way this acts, he says it's attacking =
her nervous system along the spine. There is no hind end weakness, just no=
coordination to her.

Please, e-mail me with your thoughts on the aspirin.

Thanks,

Rebecca
