how long can killer live with both cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure only being on enacard right now? he was on furosemide but the vet has taken him off it because he was urinating even in his sleep! he is sleeping alot right now! he also still has the shakes and trouble using his back legs! he had the left adrenal gland removed september 5! that is when i noticed the cough. the vet said to wait because the cough could have been from sedation they used! that was thursday evening! he went on the med for the heart problems on monday following surgery! i have heard that a ferret can live a few months to up to 3 years with cardiomyopathy! during surgery the vet also found one small spot on killer's liver and pancrease both but didn't seem concerned at this time with either spots. any help would be appriecieated. i just want to know how long he can live now! please send any responses to fuzzymom@earthlink.net .
