heliobacter is a very controversial topic--honestly if you ask
gastroenterolgists about this they will say it is a secondary problem to
underlying inflammationin the gi tract--treat for it--but it may be
incidental--i dont know of anyone isolating this in a ferret but ulcer
treatment is all the same and long term antacids and amoxi will kill the
organism--i do think that ibd in ferrets exist and the organism may be
lingering around---
