I give two of my ferrets Melatonin with their "Duck Soup" in the
evening. We have had complete remission of all the symptoms of adrenal
disease with one and stopped the acute symptoms from appearing in the
second. I have not adhered to any set timetable (other than about the same
time every evening) even though I had also heard about the 6-8 hours after
sunup rule. Both of mine are also on Arimidex. Lupron did not produce
results in either. They both have had at least one adrenal surgery prior to
trying the alternative treatments.
