Yes, for the GENERAL QUESTION but NOT neccesarily in your specific case.

If memroy serves Canola oil is pretty well monostaturate like olive oil and I can't recall any warnings about monosturated oils.

The problem that i know about occurs with large amounts of polyunsaturated oils or marine fish oils: Nutritional Steatitis (yellow fat disease). The addition of Vitamin E, protects carnivores against that problem.

I did not find any warnings about monosaturated oils and can not recall hearing of any, so I suspect it's fine.
