I haven't written anything on here awhile, but if you remember, I am the on=
e with my ferret Kayla who had scabs on her body. Well last week I got a bi=
opsy done on her, which so many of you suggested to me. The vet took 3 of t=
he masses and the results should come back sometime next week. Well we are =
take her back this Wednesday, which will be a week from her surgery, to get=
her stitches taken out. They told us to limit her running and jumping. Wel=
l the cage we have is 4 stories with ramps and tubes connecting each level.=
We figured it wasn't a good idea to have her climbing up those because the=
re would be a chance she would rip a stitch out. So we've had to confine he=
r to a rather small cage by herself. They said that if she ate and threw up=
the first night to take the food away from her, which she did. Well I thin=
k we did a wrong thing because we started her on a new food when she came b=
ack from surgery. This food just seemed healthier because it has more meat =
ingredients. She didn't throw up anymore but we noticed she has diarrhea (w=
hich we expected) but also that she isn't eating very much at all. She is d=
rinking though. We still had some of her original food left over so I fed h=
er some of that and she chowed down. But every now and then she would start=
to heave like she was going to throw up, but she never did. Is all of this=
a result of the surgery or of the new food? And what should I do? =

Thanks,
Sarah
