Truly, after three or four days, the chances of her tearing out a stitch is really minimal, and I would recommend putting here back where she normally runs. I am assuming that the biopsies were not taken from where the skin is naturally under a lot of tension - such as the extremities, but rather on the flanks or back, where the skin is somewhat loose, and only a small amount was removed.

Regarding the diet problems after surgery, you are right, switching right after surgery was probably not the most advisable thing to do. But probably not the end of the world. Sukie's advice about a couple of days on chicken baby food to smooth the rough edges, and a gradual re-introduction of her normal chow is good advice.

With kindest regards,

Well last week I got a biopsy done on her, which so many of you suggested to me. The vet took 3 of the masses and the results should come back sometime next week. Well we are take her back this Wednesday, which will be a week from her surgery, to get her stitches taken out. They told us to limit her running and jumping. Well the cage we have is 4 stories with ramps and tubes connecting each level. We figured it wasn't a good idea to have her climbing up those because there would be a chance she would rip a stitch out. So we've had to confine her to a rather small cage by herself.
