Subject: Florinef or Percortin?

I'm posting this because I'm confused!With my ferrets first adrenal surgery he was given Florinef and prednesone,seven months later another surgery [residual adrenal tissue?]he was given percortin and prednesone both adrenals were removed at the time of the first surgery.Most of the posts I'm reading here the ferrets seem to be taking Percortin! Is this better for long term replacement?I dont understand why he was changed any help in this matter would be GREAT!
