The last I checked, American Airlines does NOT allow ferrets in cabin.

Only Delta and a small regional airline (Can't remember their name) in
the SouthEast United States, allows ferrets to travel with you in the
cabin.

The required health certificate must be no older that 10 days from time
of flight. (This is Federal rule, not airline generated)

I would also have to check with Delta, but the last time I flew with
them, they only allowed 1 ferret in the carrier, not two. Oh..and the
carrier MUST fit under the seat.
