How soon after surgery can a ferret re-join the other ferrets in a large cage. One of my ferrets had surgery (both adrenals removed)on Friday (10/18) she is doing much better than any of my other ferrets have after surgery. she seems to really want to be with the others in the large cage but I am worried about her getting hurt when no one is home. When we are home I let her get in and out of the large cage and play with the others but when we are gone at work she is kept in a dog carrier she also sleeps in the carrier at night. I have had 3 other ferrets that have have had the same surgery, and none of them were able to get around as well as she is. she was running around the house the same day she had surgery.
