Jennifer I always let mine back in with the others after the stitches were
removed or dissolved (basically after the ok post op vet visit about 10
days later)....my cage has levels and things that could rub or hurt or
make the baby over-do it....if it was a one level cage and the others were
easy on her, than I would say join in...I guess it depends on the ferret,
cage mates and how safe the cage is post op.
