She further said that this vet considers portal =hepatitis >and IBD to be

I'd be very interested in hearing about this as well. My ferret Meiko just
returned from adrenal/pancreatic surgery and while the vet was operating,
she found what she called ' flecks' on the liver that she was concerned
about. She sent them off to path and the result that came back was
lymphocytic hepatitis which she said was common in ferrets.
Is this true? And if so, should Mieko not be on pred? She is on both pred
and diazoxide (proglyceem)
