I think one of my ferrets might have adreanal desease,Iam noticing a good bit of hair loss on his back end right above his tail and a little thinning straight up his spine the hair on his tail is still thick. He isn,t showing any agression or mating behavior but something tells me its adreanal.Anyway what is the best test to tell if he is adreanal?I don't want to do exploratory surgery if it's not necessary. I called my vets office and they mentioned the University of Tenn. for blood work but they weren't sure if they were affiliated with them? Is that necessary or can any vet office send blood work there? Also quoted a price of 100 dollars is that right for a blood test?Ineed help!!! Lisa
