Hello,

I just received the blood work for Fangs. A 7 year old I am working with.
Dr. Williams had mentioned he would need the bloodwork values to make
assessment of some things. I have a follow-up vet appoint in the morning. I
have been administering 20cc of Sub q tid. These were done on 9/21

Here's the blood work values that had problems in accordance with the
reference range:

He has improved. He was in a very very depressed state. At one time it was
thought I could be just sustaining life. But, he is becoming more alert and
gaining weight. I feed him approximately 4 times a day no less that 40 cc
each feeding. He is very congested. I use rescue remedy. I was advised by
the doctor to get an infant decongestant. I could not get the exact amount
to give so I stopped. I am cleaning his nose every feeding. I am feeding
him a mixture of Max cal. baby food, assorted kitten and ferret foods, and
nutro cal. I also give him every once in a while the Tomlyn supplement
vitamins with iron. Sometimes I do the food watery and sometimes more thick
depending on how his tummy fills. I like to do heavy mixes in the evenings.
Sub Q's are done twice a day morning and evening. He is getting stronger.
His weight is increasing. I will know exactly tomorrow. Everytime I come
towards him with a syringe he goes to hide under the couch. He does have a
cage mate. They are very close. They were dropped of to the shelter here in
Georgia in Sept.

With this type of blood values what decisions would anyone make?

Thank you for any input,
Benita
