Thank you everybody for the replies. The ferrets owner said the following
when I asked her whether she managed to give the ferret any acetaminophen:
"Yes I did but a very small amount of it, just a dust of it. I gave it with
mix of water honey and a drop of milk." Is this enough to kill a ferret?
She died approx. 21 hours after the acetaminophen. The owner gave it to the
jill because the jill had a tooth abscess (which made the right side of her
face swell up) and was in a lot of pain. The jill also had cardiomyopathy
and possible adrenal disease. She is having (has had) an autopsy so
hopefully we'll know more soon.
