I am not a vet. But the bruising after the shot was probably from the anemia. The symptoms all sound adrenal related. Benedryl has helped my girls with itching..but they also had other problems going on, so I am unsure if benedryl helps itching caused by adrenal alone... I would find a very knowledgeable vet and ask for advice. Benedryl should be used to help while an illness is being treated. Not a cover-up for getting the treatment needed to fix the problem. Good luck. Keep us posted.
