Well, we had to just put Simba to sleep. It looked like the tumor was a carcinoma and had engulfed his panceas, stomach, and intestines. There was also spots on his liver. So, we did the best thing we could and helped him along to the rainbow bridge. I am glad I got to say my goodbyes to him which I didn't get to do with Samson.

In one month I lose 2 ferrets, and am left with one little girl. She has a few medical problems as well but is doing very well right now. She will have to have surgery soon though to remove her adrenal glands.

I am not sure what to do with her. Both simba and Sassy got to see Samson after he died, but Sassy will not. She was not extremely close to either of them, but a little closer to Simba. She loves to play with humans though and I think she will be OK, but I have no plans on getting any more ferrets for a while. Can someone give me some suggestions on how to keep an only ferret happy?

Thanks

a sad Judi and Sassy, missing Samson and Simba.
