Since a number of human immunizations are good for several years, and
some canine vaccinations as well, I recently had my vet's office check
on the availability and cost of antibody titers for distemper (and
possibly rabies) for my ferrets. The cost was about $30-40 for each. At
that price I have decided to get titers done annually, instead of
routine vaccinations. Obviously, it will be years before I have any
answers, but perhaps if several of us did this and kept track we would
(eventually) have answers....
