Zac had a blockage. Vet removed a thing out of his stomach, it looks and
smells like poo and has hairs in it, I'll try and take a picture. He had a
lot of gas in his tummy as well, that's why it was so extended. Now the vet
doesn't know how soon Zac can eat again, how long until the sutures heal
enough to hold stomach contents in? I think my vet said that they withhold
food for 2 days in dogs but surely you don't starve ferrets for that long?
He is on an IV (glucose) drip. Is A/D a good food to start him on and if so
for how long until he can have his meat again?
