I reply: yes, they can be signs of a partial blockage. I'd get a vet
assessment. Some fibers seem to pass or digest, or a bit of both,
but not all do. This sounds like a ferret to keep away from cloth.

In a full blockage the ferret will stop defecating, may vomit, won't
eat and may not drink, etc.

It is possible for injury to happen with some blockages and these can
result in related signs.
