Sukie: I had a ferret about 6 years ago that had one adrenal removed, then
the other adrenal removed 6 months later and we continued to do the
Tennessee Panel on her which, after another 6 months, showed adrenal
disease. My vet spoke with the head honcho at Univ. of TN and he said that
25% of early neuter ferrets that have had BOTH adrenals removed would
present again with another one. Was I ever surprised!
