I did a survey of the FML a few months ago with the intention of getting a
"rate" of reactions for the ferrets represented there. There were relatively
few responses (138 vaccinations), so I didn't give much credit to the
resulting stats, but they were 3.85% reactions to all vaccinations, with 60%
Fervac D and 40% Imrab.

With my personal ferrets, I have had a rate of almost exactly 10%. I can
count on having a reaction for every 8-10 vaccinations I have done. (Quite a
difference from 1 in 1000!) I found that to be an alarming rate, which is
why I did the survey, and concluded that my experiences were not typical.

As a side note, there were 53 pre-treated vaccinations surveyed, and 2
reactions among them, which is about the same rate (3.77%) as the
vaccinations that were not pre-treated, but they were less severe.
