Hello my name is Brady and I'm new to this process, so excuse me if I'm in the wrong place. I have two ferrets, Tate and Harry. I came on line to read up on adrenal cancer in ferrets because I noticed my youngest ferret, Tate-he's about two years old, was losing hair on his tail. I called the vet and she told me to bring him in for blood work which sent me into a complete fit because I didn't think I'd have to be worring about tumors this early in his life. The hair loss is just in the tail. Does this happen to other ferrets or should I go for the blood work. Any recommendations are appreciated.
