Hi, Chandra,
Not really a health question, but I'll let the moderators decide if they
want the responses on list.
First, give them time. We had that when we got our second ferret.
Tenchi dragged Adric around or else ignored him. Within a week or two
they were fast friends.
If you cage them at all and are keeping them in separate cages (a good
idea the first 10 days) try swapping bedding from the two cages so that
they get used to each other's smell. Also keep the cages next to each
other. Finally, try to play with both of them together. Find something
they both like to do and do it with both at the same time.
In the end, I'm sure your girl will accept having a little brother
around.
All the best,
Caity and the non-stop nine
